WHAT'S HAPPENING !!f 9-10-08 Pheasant season is just around the corner. It opens the 3rd Saturday in October each year and even though our area is a little down from last year, it should be a very good one. There are quite a few lodges and places to stay at Waubay and the surrounding communities, so give it a try. Almost everywhere you look now, one can see young waterfowl and shorebirds along with pheasant, deer and many more. It's a great time to just drive around, observing.
